THREE DAYS/TWO NIGHTS
7:00 am: Hotel pick-up. Shared transportation to Copacabana. Tour starts in La Paz city; at 11,942 ft. above sea level. Then after crossing the high plains you reach the Titicaca lakefront (12,500 ft.).
You will cruise Tiquina Strait on a motorboat; which is the narrowest part of the lake dividing the Minor Lake (Wiñaymarka) from the Mayor Lake (Chucuito), to keep traveling through Copacabana peninsula on a road where you will see countless pre-Columbian agriculture terraces from Chiripa, Tiwanaku and Inca cultures.
Arrival in Copacabana, accommodation. Then a stroll through the town, visiting the renaissance- style church, the Artisan market, and the Farmers market. Optional ascent to the Calvary Hill to enjoy a privileged sightseeing from Titicaca Lake. Return to Hotel, dinner.
8:00 am: After breakfast, sail to the north shore of the Sun Island on motorboat to disembark at Challapampa village where a small archaeological museum displaying items found during late 70’s Jacques Costeau’s underwater expedition is located. From there you will start a hiking of about 4 hours, going through the archaeological site of “La Chincana” until the arrival at Yumani village.
Enjoy your lunch box under the open skies and with the wonderful sightseeing from Titicaca Lake and the Andes Royal Mountain Range. Accommodation in an ecological hostel in the Sun Island. Supper. (Lunch box and Supper are included).
8:00 am: Breakfast at the Ecolodge. Hiking to the Yumani docks, through the village again and descending by the Sacred Staircase where you will behold the gardens with the well-preserved terraces until the Inca’s Fountain. Sail for a short while by the Titicaca Lake and make a stop at the Pilkocaina Temple, after that return to Copacabana. Once in the town; visit the church, the local market and the handicrafts shops. Lunch and return to La Paz.
5:00 pm: Approximate arrival to La Paz. End of service.

If you wish, a direct transportation to Puno can be arranged at the end of the tour instead of returning to La Paz.
