Discover the majesty of Chacaltaya and the mysterious lunar landscape of Valle de la Luna in this unique tour that takes you to impressive heights and stunning rock formations.
Chacaltaya was previously the highest ski slope in the world, located at 5380 meters above sea level. Here, you can admire beautiful landscapes in the Altiplano, see different Andean animals such as llamas and alpacas, as well as lagoons, and enjoy a spectacular view of the city of La Paz and an incredible vista of Lake Titicaca.
From the 5300 meters where the transport arrives, we start the hike, ascending to 5380 meters and then to the second peak at 5400 meters above sea level.
Later, we move to Valle de la Luna, located south of the city of La Paz at 3200 meters above sea level, where you can witness a spectacular rock formation sculpted by the wind, creating a landscape similar to the moon. The walk through this attraction lasts approximately 45 minutes.
