Huayna Potosi is a snowy mountain that belongs to the Cordillera Real of the Andes, is located at an altitude of 6088 meters above sea level, enjoying from the top a spectacular view of the rest of the Cordillera Real and Lake Titicaca.

The meeting will take place at the operator’s office at 9:00 a.m. From there, we will proceed with the departure in a vehicle to the base camp, located at an altitude of 4700 masl. Lunch will be provided at the same camp.

After lunch, we will embark on a two-hour hike to Campo Alto, situated at approximately 5200 masl. Each person will be responsible for carrying their climbing equipment and personal belongings during the ascent. Upon reaching Campo Alto, we will take a tea break and rest until 5:00 p.m. Dinner will be served at this time, followed by a well-deserved night’s sleep.

We will wake up at 12:00 a.m. and prepare all the necessary equipment to begin the climb to the summit. Breakfast will be served at 12:30 a.m. We will leave the camp at 1:00 a.m. The ascent to the summit will take approximately 5 to 6 hours, with breaks along the way to enjoy chocolate and hydrate ourselves for the final push. We aim to reach the summit between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., ideally before sunrise, to marvel at the breathtaking scenery and capture memorable photos. The descent to Campo Alto will take only 2 and a half hours. Once there, we will rest for an hour, enjoy hot soup and drinks before descending to Base Camp. From Base Camp, we will return to La Paz by vehicle. The estimated arrival time in the city is between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
