Discover the ancient Takesi route on a 2-day, 1-night trek. From Choquecota, at 4640 meters above sea level, enjoy breathtaking views of the Lurukeri and Warawarani lagoons. After a satisfying lunch, hike for 6-7 hours to reach the campsite. On the following day, continue along the Takesi trail, cross the Kakapihasta river, and descend to Chojlla.
At 7:00 A.M., we’ll depart from La Paz towards Choquecota, also known as the San Francisco mine. After approximately two hours, we’ll arrive at this location and begin our hike to the apacheta, situated at an altitude of 4640 meters above sea level. From there, we’ll be treated to panoramic views of the Lurukeri and Warawarani lagoons. After a satisfying lunch, we’ll continue hiking for 6 to 7 hours until we reach the campsite for a well-deserved rest.
On the second day, following a delicious and energizing breakfast, we’ll trek through Takesi, the Kakapihasta river, and descend until we reach Chojlla, where the Yanacachi mine is located. From there, we’ll return to La Paz by transportation.

The 3-day Takesi trek is the same trek but with a slower walking pace and gives you time to enjoy the scenery and take pictures.
The first night you camp in Takesi and the second night in Cacapi, the rest of the service is the same.
